About Us

A Ugandan Security specialist formed Salvare Care Centre after he lost his both parents at a very early age of 6 years going through hardships despite having relatives.

Salvare Care Centre partner with various organizations in the fight against human trafficking, child exploitation and other related activities and crimes with a wide breadth of experience and resources to its efforts to track and apprehend traffickers.

Our Goal

It is to empower and embolden the public to play an active role in educating others to serve as a community interested in protecting those who are vulnerable.

What We do

In Uganda, human trafficking remains a significant concern, affecting countless lives and communities. Our team at Salvare is tirelessly working to address this issue through a combination of prevention, intervention, and advocacy. We firmly believe that every person deserves freedom, dignity, and the opportunity to live a life free from exploitation.

Surveillance
Evidence Collection

Salvare Care Centre investigators conduct cyber and in-person surveillance to locate, identify and track criminals and their networks. We work closely with law enforcement agencies to bring perpetrators to justice.

Data
Analytics

Partnering with organizations and agencies in cyber tracking and data analysis, we employ cutting edge analytics and tracing tools to identify individuals who target children and young adults. We work to find the perpetrators of these crimes before they commit them.

Awareness and
Prevention

Salvare Care Centre has prioritized awareness, educational seminars and other forms of communications at schools, churches and other social gatherings. We endeavor to bring out identifying signs of someone being trafficked or exploited and explain how to report a suspected issue to increase awareness and decrease incidence of trafficking.

The Challenge

Human trafficking is the fastest growing criminal enterprise in the world, generating more than $100 billion US dollars every year. It is modern- day slavery.
Victims are frequently sold into the slave trade and exploited by force, fraud, or coercion. It happens in every nation, on every continent, everywhere and more than 30 million slaves worldwide.

It is an abuse which is violent, manipulative, and dehumanizing and it
must end.

Human trafficking is organized criminal activity in which human beings are treated as possessions to be controlled and exploited, often in the context of prostitution or forced labor.

Child exploitation is the act of employing, persuading, or coercing a
minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct for visual production purposes, and/or sexually assaulting a minor.
